Mobile food vendor registration

Use this application form if you want to operate as a mobile food vendor at a Wellington City Council event.

Acceptance to a Wellington City Council event means you will need to:

  • follow instructions on the day from the food and health inspector, and from event managers 
  • use Wellington City Council accepted compostable food packaging, provide detailed menus, pricing, and signage for your food truck / caravan
  • all food vendors must have a current registration, electrical warrant of fitness (EWOF), fire extinguisher and fire blanket
  • be operating a food truck / caravan – no ezi ups permitted.

You need to have a Certificate of Registration.

All mobile food vendors are required to have a certificate of registration, so you'll need to get one before you can operate at a Council event.
